I'm having a hell of a time getting Jenkins to work with Git. I'm on Ubuntu 10.04, Jenkins 1.545, Git 1.7.9.5. I've installed the Jenkins Git Client 1.6, Jenkins Git 2.0 plugins as well as a few others that I use for ANT and SVN integrations
I've tried setting up jobs to pull from both a local and remote Git repos using both Git and Stash Git repos. I've tried all kinds of different security set-up...including "public" access, access using no security at all. The problem is that every time I try to run a job I get an error saying "stderr: error: unknown option `progress'" The complete Console Output follows. Can anyone explain whats going on here and why I'm seeing this error?
