If you restart Jenkins, do the builds reappear?

Subject: Old jobs just disappearing from UI

I have one job which takes about 40h to complete. It is a big test setup that
simply just needs a lot of time to complete.

The problem with this job is that the the older jobs just disappears fro the
UI. If one looks on the master the builds are all there on disk, complete with
symlinks.

All other jobs on this jenkins cluster seems to be running fine.

Anything I need to look for or is this a possible bug with long running jobs?

BTW Discard old builds were set to 90 days, but i have turned this off as well.
- It should not really have an effect though, but just done as a precaution.
