I don't know what happend recently but neither 1.508 or 1.509 let me add new build or post build steps for Maven 2/3 or free-style job. Since I do use it just locally I do run jenkins from command line (java -jar jenkins.war), I removed .jenkins folder from system to make sure it does start from scratch, but no luck. I'm on Mac OS Mountain Lion
