Thanks. I think the users list (or perhaps the dev list) is probably the best place to do this.
The plugin source code is at [1], but it looks like this plugin was never released. I just did a minimal massaging and posted a release, so hopefully in a day or so you'll see it in your update center.
If you are willing to hack on the plugin, please let us know your github ID and we'll get you all the access you need!
