Hello, As the subject suggests, I am installing Jenkins CI on an Ubuntu Linux VM: Unbuntu 10.04 LTS.
I've got Jenkins itself up and running, and I've installed Git and it is running as it stands. Now I want to persuade Jenkins to install Git. Supposedly I've got the Git client plugin installed. However, there doesn't appear to be a Git option under the job source control configuration. I've done the very basic stuff at this point. Configured the Jenkins user with a home directory, the ITEM_ROOTDIR connected through .profile file in the home directory. However the plugin itself doesn't seem to want to install.
