Jelly scripting is quite powerful. I noticed that it is possible to even open/close file handles with JELLY. It is just a question of learning the concept and the appropriate tags to use in the .jelly script.
I think that it is safe to say that you could perform a google or yahoo search on "jelly scripting" to find some goo documentation and examples.
