I just finished setting up a batch of Linux hosts (Fedora, Ubuntu, CentOS) for running Jenkins CI. During the deployment, I observed that the deb doesn't offer a 'jenkins' group, instead. It's set to 'nogroup'. This seems to contradict with what this Jenkins wiki<https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Distributed+builds#Distributedbuilds-Example%3AConfigurationonUnix>says.
The RPM for Red Hats alike systems do have the 'jenkins' group. I am curious why there is such a difference in packaging? Regards, -- Zack
