Hi, Templates is a major feature. The VMWare plugin is nice in that it you can also allocate VMs to slaves so its not autoscalling as such but you can get a pristine environment in which to run integration/acceptance style tests without risk of any polluted environment. (I think the OSS VMWare plugin may now have similar functionality but it didn't exist when the cloudbees one was written).
But having said that - support is king!
