3 things that come to mind: 1 - Based on the path names in the log it seems you are on windows. Maybe the instructions on http://help.github.com/win-set-up-git/ are more helpful to you?
2 - You are probably using Windows XP. I have heard the Jenkins Windows installer is buggy on Windows XP in such a way that it sets up Jenkins to use %PROGRAMFILES%\Jenkins as the JENKINS_HOME directory. You should try to set JENKINS_HOME environment variable for the Jenkins service and point it to some directory that is writable by the account Jenkins is running as.
