Well first you would need to create the branch in your repo if it is not already done, and modify poms and other supporting files if required. Then you can either modify your jobs in Jenkins to point to the different URL for your repo (reflecting the branch) or create a new view and new jobs based off that branch and leave the old jobs based on the trunk intact: it all depends on what the end goal is with trunk.
