Thanks for letting us know, for the 'use latest browser' error, can you tell me what browser you had selected? The v1.125 version of the plugin does attempt to resolve the 'can't lock pidfile' error, and the sc process tends to take a while to close. It might be worth trying v1.125 again and taking a look at the errors that are written to the sc.log file.
