Description:

Jenkins automatically creates users from GIT commit log.
But when projects are updated with merges from mainstream(like linux) and subsequent build fails all users in the commit log receive e-mail, thus spamming everyone.
A solution to the issue is
by using
to use
Email-ext plugin with pre-send rule. But Email-ext plugin is not installed/enabled by default and needs to be added to individual project.
Wouldn’t it be a better solution to provide a configuration if automatic user addition can be enabled or disabled.
Or Email be sent with pre-send rules like in Email-ext plugin?
