ExecutorStepExecution.stop could probably be less aggressive now after some other changes to abort handling. But CpsStepContext still needs to deal gracefully with a StepContext.onFailure (or even onSuccess) before a body has finished—meaning it must never create badly-nested nodes. Why not just “forget” about the body, close all unclosed start nodes with matching end nodes, and proceed?
