The maven task has option to create private repository which we use to keep our build clean. This option creates .repository directory in workspace root and downloads all dependencies there. With 'Auto cleanup and sync' populate option, this .repository directory gets removed on every build causing all dependencies to get downloaded every build which is inefficient.
