We utilize some few scripts to retrieve information about which build hosts are currently building what in which directory. But these are run only on-demand and do not modify any data.
The only script that modified data is one that sets the number of executors for all hosts to a new value. But that script is almost never run, since these bulk changes are usually unncessary. Additionally, many server restarts (to update plugins) happened since its last use, and the issue happens on many different servers.
