Issue Type: Bug Bug
Affects Versions: current
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: jenkinswalldisplay
Created: 08/Sep/14 9:34 PM
Description:

When the wall display is active, stack traces spam the logs at ridiculously high speeds.

JENKINS-24458 has details on the behavior.

From doing a test, I've narrowed it down to the code block shown below:

walldisplay.js:632
$.ajax({
    url: jenkinsUrl + "/view/" + viewName + "/api/json",
    dataType: 'json',
    data: {
        "depth": 1
    },

The reference on GitHub walldisplay.js#L632

When this call is made (http://…/view/<viewName>/api/json?depth=1) then the logs are hammered by tracebacks, in some cases using hundreds of megabytes in a matter of a few minutes.
