LNP commented on JENKINS-23987 When i install the plugins from the Manage Jenkins->Plugins->Install no exe file is available in the plugin folder Enviroment:Jenkin version 1.572,JRE7. As i am using the dot net source code i downloaded the MSBuild plugin. After the installation of the plugin restarted the system. Tried configuring the job. Observed result:When i tried doing this,got failure state metnioning MSBuild file configuration error Later when i checked in the <Installed path>/Jenkins/Plugin/...no exe file found. In the Manage Jenkins->Configuration settings-> for MSBuild exe mentioned the path of the MSBuild.exe {available as part of the MS.net) Later tried building the job,able to do job successfully. When i have installed already the plugin from jenkins,need to know do we need to do manually these settings.
