Brenuart: Issues with the reverse proxy monitor not working correctly are unrelated to this problem. Please report those as new issues (if you're on 1.552, when the reverse proxy brokenness detection was improved).
That being said, with Update Center no longer relying on the user's browser, this should be resolved.
Does anyone still experience the original reported problem on recent Jenkins versions? What are the affected non-https URLs?
