Maven told me the release was successful and a new tag is present in git, but something went wrong. I'm probably facing to this issue https://groups.google.com/d/topic/jenkinsci-dev/qkmbl3HrYgk/discussion, but who knows.
I have just tried to re-release the plugin once more using the commands below which should workaround the issue. We will see tomorrow.
