@dvaske, I increased mine to just 512M (I read somewhere that it was not useful to go above that or maybe it was that if you had to go beyond 512M that you had other problems). I'll see if I can't track down the article that talked about why 512M was a good number. Setting it to 512M is working fine for me. I haven't had a crash since then.
