Current help for the TestFlight Jenkins plugin contains this text next to the 'Replace' checkbox.

Will set the replace Testflight API parameter to True if checked. Ignored for APKs.

It appears that APK support for Replace works when using the Upload API using with curl. Why is it ignored by the Jenkins plugin? Is it a limitation of the plugin or the API?
Would be great to have this support for replacing builds, especially in a continuous integration context.
