Description:
|
The P4CLIENT variable value does not accurately reflect the P4CLIENT name on the perforce server.
Job setup: - Added a WORKSPACE parameter to make the project more dynamic by taking a user overrided Workspace. - Configuring the perforce plugin to use the Workspace name 'WORKSPACE' and letting Jenkins Create/Manage the workspace. - Start Build defining the WORKSPACE variable as TestService.
The perforce workspace name created
by Jenkins
is TestService--1590070572
The P4CLIENT value set after the initial sync is C:\Jenkins\workspace\TestService--1590070572 which is the ROOT value of the Workspace
