Hi, thanks a lot for the very fast response. I have installed the plugin snapshot. I do not get the error anymore.
However, the drop down list shows only "Head". However I know this project has tags. I can see them if I do 

cvs log -h|awk -F"[.:]" '/^\t/&&$(NF-1)==0{print $1}'|sort -u


Is it that I didn't understand the purpose of the plugin ? or could it be that I misconfigured it ? 



I was expecting to see the same as with the svn plugin, i.e. a list of all available tags so that I can later check out one of them.
