At some point after my upgrade from Jenkins 2.46.2 to Jenkins 2.46.3 the Jenkins update center stopped working.
Using [http://updates.jenkins.io/stable/update-center.json] (no SSL) , _Updates_ --> _Check now_ returns this error: "None of the tool installer metadata passed the signature check" (in Firefox 53.0.3 64-bit)
