See JENKINS-42179 > and it certain cases picked up as a Javadoc warning: I think that it is picked as a "warning" because it is outputted by the JVM in "stderr" and not in "stdout". I don't think that it is related to javadocs. It seems to appear in the log message you mention because "javadoc:javadoc" does a fork of the JVM to launch the javadoc tool "javadoc:javadoc-no-fork. I see the same message with the FindBugs plugins that spawns a new process.
