I work for a very large company and would never be allowed to change it anyway. All I know is if I use Jenkins 1.493 and Email Extensions 2.25 I am able to send emails. If I upgrade to Jenkins 1.494 or higher, I can't. As far as the JDK tip, I have yet to figure out where I should be adding that property.
