I do see a spike in network usage on the slave node at this time. In this case, there is certainly some network time between the master and slave (the slaves are in AWS and the master is at colocation facility in a different state). In terms of bandwidth, there is quite a lot of it available between the two sites - much more than the ~1Mbps peak of the spike we're seeing. In terms of latency, it also isn't so bad, we're seeing ping times of ~65ms. Is there a good way to enable more granular logging as to what may be happening? Is there a better way to track this down definitively?
