It is part of the documentation, but to be hones, I don't know have a clue to how to use the environment variable. And what Scope has this variable? Is it on the Jenkins Slave environment or is the value stored on the build environment? If so, could access this value by e.g. $ {env.VSPHERE_IP} ? If so, I could use this to connect via SSH and start a Jenkins Slave!! But unfortunately this didn't seem to work...
