David Baird commented on JENKINS-10110: --------------------------------------- I am also looking for the username that initiated a "Build Now" operation on a job. In the build actions, I'd like to pick up the username. I have jobs that only get initiated by a logged in user through "Build Now" and others that are initiated by a build trigger, or by a "Build Now". I'd like to tell the difference in my scripts. Thank you. > Create a JENKINS_USER env var set to the id used for login > ---------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: JENKINS-10110 > URL: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-10110 > Project: Jenkins > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: gui > Reporter: Didier Durand > Priority: Minor > > Create a JENKINS_USER env var set to the id used for login: this value is not > yet accessible for scripts although it is displayed of top right corner of > any page. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
