evernat commented on JENKINS-4140:
----------------------------------

As said in the Tomcat issue, fixes to workaround the MSIE issue were made
elsewhere.
It could be suggested to upgrade Tomcat.

Without response to the previous question, resolving as not a defect (for
Jenkins).

> When Hudson is deployed on Tomcat with an SSL connector, zipped-up artifacts
> can
> not be downloaded when using IE. After investigating, it is clearly the issue
> identified in Microsoft KB 316431:
> Here are the headers that come back:
> HTTP/1.1 200 OK
> Server: Apache-Coyote/1.1
> Pragma: No-cache
> Cache-Control: no-cache
> Expires: Wed, 31 Dec 1969 19:00:00 EST

> I am not a Tomcat or Java expert, so I'm not sure whose problem this is. Most
> of the workarounds/solutions I found in searches were done on the application
> side. I couldn't find a way to work around this in the main Tomcat
> configuration.
> If this is not an issue for the Hudson folks, please feel free to close this.
> Thanks.
