The jenkinsci GitHub organization has a very old copy of the Eclipse JGit
project in https://github.com/jenkinsci/jgit . It includes work that was
done to create a Jenkins specific fork of JGit 2.4.0. Jenkins has been
using standard JGit for a very long time, without any need for a Jenkins
specific fork. The most recent git client plugin release delivered JGit
7.0.0.

Could one of the jenkinsci organization administrators
archive https://github.com/jenkinsci/jgit so that it is clear the project
is not using it?

Thanks,
Mark Waite
