These procedures are usually conducted confidentially before security releases are made by the Security Team. So, do contact them first to see what you can do next.
Also, do remember to remove that adopt-this-plugin tag on GitHub for the plugin so the others will know you have adopted it already, and will not make additional requests to adopt it.
