Running Jenkins on Windows is as simple as
* Download the long term support version of jenkins.war from the
Jenkins site
* Launch that war file with the command "java -jar jenkins.war"
* Connect to http://localhost:8080/
There is a "Jenkins in Five Minutes" screencast that shows how I install it.
