Ah, sorry.
Sounds like automated tool installation feature.
Sorry, I don't know how these files are updated.
cheers

Sorry Christoph for bothering you again :)
probably I did not express the problem clearly: that file
http://mirrors.jenkins-ci.org/updates/updates/hudson.plugins.buckminster.BuckminsterInstallation.BuckminsterInstaller.json
is used for installing the binaries of the tool used by this Jenkins
plugin (through DownloadFromURLInstaller while reads that file remotely).
this file does not come from the sources of the plugin, and I think it
was somehow uploaded by the previous maintainer;
I would like to provide a new file, but I don't understand how to do that...
thanks in advance
Lorenzo

That's automatically updated by the release process, too.

Both the information in the Wiki and the update site contents are
updated after you perform a new release of the plugin.
See Jenkins' Wiki on information how to release a plugin.
OK, for the Wiki, but concerning this file
http://mirrors.jenkins-ci.org/updates/updates/hudson.plugins.buckminster.BuckminsterInstallation.BuckminsterInstaller.json
that is a static file, which, from what I understand, was uploaded by
the previous maintainer... how can I update that?
thanks in advance

I made you a committer on GitHub and made you the default assignee in
JIRA.
Welcome aboard!
Thank you Christoph :)
I followed the instructions on
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Moving+from+Subversion+%28svn%29+to+Github
and performed the move to github (I also updated the
{jenkins-plugin-info:pluginId=your-artifact} at the top of your wiki
entry) but the wiki still shows the old information
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Buckminster+PlugIn
I assume the synchronization takes place periodically right?
Then I'd have another question: the installation of software for this
plugin is based on DownloadFromURLInstaller using this remote file
http://mirrors.jenkins-ci.org/updates/updates/hudson.plugins.buckminster.BuckminsterInstallation.BuckminsterInstaller.json
how can I update that file?
thanks in advance
Lorenzo
I noted that the canonical repository of the plugin is still
Subversion
- as noted in the Wiki.
You might want to move it to GitHub as a 1st step:

Hi
I would like to be an maintainer of the Jenkins Buckminster plugin.
It looks like the plugin has no active maintainer (the current
maintainer, Johannes Utzig, confirmed that),
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Buckminster+PlugIn
I already have some fixes ready
my github username is LorenzoBettini
thanks in advance
cheers
