add multiple story update integration tests, refactor
the integration tests were looking pretty hairy and riddled with duplication,
so they
were refactored to dry them up a little bit. i threw in some guice magic that i
don't
necessary understand 100% to enable the multiple step file approach. if you're
reading
this and know a better way, please leave a comment!
