What should happen if a transient instance is passed as a parameter to navigate to a field? The specification 14.6.1 says that an implementation *might* support transient instances as parameters. Also 14.6 , queries over collections containing transient instances might be supported. So we should not include transient instances as parameters in the tck. 4.
