Then I replaced the contents of the directory java by the contents of the same directory from jde-2.3.4beta6 and all worked fine (only replacing jde.jar was not sufficient). What are the differences between the versions, is there anybody with the same problem?
Jobst PS. In the installation guide should be mentioned that the file attributes for the documentation should be set depending where the files are stored and who installed the files.
