Hello,
In looking through the archives I see that some work was done on JDE to
enhance its OS X compatibility late last year... has anyone been
running it with a current system? I'm running under 10.2.6 and cannot
get files to compile. I see that in jde.el there's a test for "darwin"
to set where JDE thinks the classes.jar (as opposed to tools.jar) file
is, but it appears under 10.2.6. that the test fails or there is
something extra odd about the 1.4.1 version of Apple's JDK.
I had set the jde-jdek-registry to point to /Library/Java/Home (the
current active JDFK, which is 1.4.1) - no dice, then reset it - also no
luck.
jde-get-jdk-dir returns:
CompileServer output:
-classpath /usr/local/classes /Users/spector/SimpleList.java
Any ideas?
regards,
David
