Thanks for the reply. Further research has demonstrated that the
buglet in ntemacs concerns the way it handles its "save as" function.
If I create the file "counter.java" and then do C-x C-w to "save as"
another filename, and I choose the filename "Counter.java", ntemacs
doesn't actually write a new file with a capitalized first letter, it
writes over the old one with a small letter. I don't think this
behavior should be "as designed," even though Winders is not case
sensitive. But, there may be implementation issues of which I am not
aware.
