Becky,
Occasionally, my McAfee anti-virus software will place a window over part of
the screen that even the Jaws "window List" dialog doesn't see. When it
does this, Jaws suddenly can no longer tell if my Outlook Express messages
are unread or not. I have to use my Jaws cursor to find the McAfee window,
and then click on the close button. Perhaps something similar to this
happened in your case as well.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] OE problem fixed
Not sure why my email was acting goofy, but rebooting fixed it. I had
tried
shutting down OE and reopening, but it took a reboot to fix the problem.
Thanks.
Becky
