I'm having a problem with these directions. Where should I be when I press
alt + tab? Going to that jaws window doesn't do it so there must be another
step.

Hi Miriam,
Bring up the Jaws dialog box by pressing alt+tab. Now I am doing this from
memory. Press the alt key and arrow left or right to option then down to
basic. Press enter on Basic. Now another dialog box comes up. Tab until you
hear "run Jaws from system tray. " Press the space bar to check this. Now
tab to the ok button and press enter. Now when you restart your computer you
will not have the Jaws dialog box when you do the alt + tab key.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws window

Jaws 2018 began having terrible problems yesterday so I called VFO this
morning and they did a Jaws repair. Before they did the repair, the Jaws
window didn't appear when I alt tabbed around, which was very convenient.
Now it's just another extra window, along with Magic, that gets in my way. I
have win7 and I E 11. What lovely convenient thing did all the people who
helped me do, that kept the window out of my way? By the way, thank Goodness
Jaws is working again, but it still has continual problems like periodically
saying, "lost focus", and alt tabbing as it tells me to do, won't help. I
have to quit Jaws and start it again.

Miriam
