I did try this method but I did not complete the process by setting the
voice for Word only. Thanks so much for the tip and I got it done.

Hi Marie,
There is a bug in JAWS which causes it to not detecting the application you
actually were in when you opened the JAWS window with INSERT+J.
To make the Select a Voice Profile dialog to detect the application from
which you opened it, open it by pressing CTRL+JAWS+S from wittin the desired
application instead of using the JAWS menus.

In the past I could change the voice just for the Word program by going into
options/voices/voice profiles Now when I go into that dialog box it only
wants to change the voice for the Jaws window instead of Word? I am
confused.
