Hi tom I've done a number of these and, if you let the hims driver install where it wants to, Jaws should find it.
When installing the hims driver, there are two or three separate pieces of software within the driver package. Each one has a Finish Button and it's a bit confusing because when you press Finish the process starts again. It's very easy to assume you've made a booboo and people often press Cancel or close the installer too soon. just let the thing go round a few times till it goes away. The other thing to remember is to not connect the U2 till the Hims driver is finished installing. Shout if you need further assistance. I am using Windows 7 64-bit Pro with JAWS 2018. If the HIMS braille driver is needed, where should it be placed on my hard drive? I get the message that the braille driver can’t be loaded.
