I am in the process of coding the HTML for posting what looks like at this
point no less than four such utilities that seem to be free to distribute.
More when it gets closer to going live so to speak.

I started out looking for a utility and now I have at least three of them to
pick from. Depending on their respective permissions I might just post them
on the server for others to find. I will review the licenses before hand of

Forgive my ignorance, but are we talking about opening the drive door
or actually ejecting the drive itself? If it is about opening the CD
drive door, Alt-F and press j while on the drive.

I had if memory serves a utility that would eject my DVD drive with a
hotkey and unfortunately it must have been deleted in my last house
cleaning so to speak. Does anybody have such an animal or know where
to find it? I am off to do a search myself soon as I send this
message, I was just wondering in case my search proves fruitless.
