I've had this problem in prior Jaws versions when working in a Word or Outlook email. Either replying or typing a new message. A simple Arrow down would do nothing, but a controlplus arrow down or the same laptop command worked. It used to be bad around a year or so ago. So far though, in the limited time I've had to work with today's update, I havent' encountered that problem. Currently on Microsoft Outlook Version 16.0.8431.2079 if that helps.

Forced reading commands seem to be fine like say line or top of file for a reason that escapes my understanding. It has been a long time since I said this, but I might have to revert my systems to the previous build until things get straightened out. -----Original Message----- From: David Ferrin Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2018 5:52 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] a possible bug Since todays’ update things are not reading properly for me when I arrow up, down or around for some strange reason. I can’t explain it exactly how this thing is acting. Does anybody have this issue with you’re respective systems. David Ferrin Life is what happens after you have already made other plans.
