FYI - you will probably have more luck asking on poi-users, rather than here
As for your problem, are you trying to execute "org.apache.poi.hslf.HSLFSlideShow"? If so, that's your problem. The only HSLF classes with main methods (i.e. that you can directly call) are the two extractor ones.
