Thanks to everyone who mailed me with suggestions. We came up with this
as an abstract:
This session has three sections. The first gives an overview of the
Apache XML Parsers for Java and C++ and looks at latest developments in
support of open standards such as DOM Level 3 and JAXP. Next, we will
look at where the project will go now that DOM and SAX, the 2 main
parser “standards”, are going no further. This will encompass feedback
given at last years XML 2004, which Xerces committers spoke at. Finally
we discuss our experiences, both good and bad, of moving to a new Top
Level Project.
