Hi Philippe,

I still face the same issue. After removing libva libraries, the issue persists.
Well the problem may have solved in later version
because I know that current Tizen:Common (and probably also Tizen:IVI)
does support video playback once libva removed

Here is a video proof on minnowmax :

I work on Tizen-3.0 march MBR image for Intel Arch.
Intel here too

If I use .ogg file, the I get error “ autoaudiosink element is missing” .
Looks you're missing vorbis codecs ?

If I use .avi file, then I get error "No decoder available for type
'video/x-msvideo'.your gstreamer installation is missing a plug-in" .
same for containers

Ideally I have installed all plugins through zypper install.

Remind me do you use Qml or QVideoWidget ?
On 1st option , I don't think there is wayland specific issue here but a codec problem On 2d , I've been said that Qt Multimedia force to use xvimagesink so it will not work...

May I suggest to test on current versions ie daily version
check using the demo file (zypper install qt-tizen-demo ; launch_video_qt.sh )
and please open new bugs that could be reproduced our side.

For Qt and va, I investigated a bit and found out
that works on hw accel will happens later,
ie: once Qt Multimedia official supports gst-1.0
I'll check but it should be in Qt-5.4 roadmaps

You can track GstVaBuffer + Qt MM progress at :

There is no ETA yet, wanna help ?
