The OBS issues appear to be resolved. OBS is back up and responsive once again. We are watching it closely to keep tabs on stability. So far so good.
It should be fine for people to start re/submitting things to OBS. If you do not see acceptance notices or it looks like there is an incorrect/old version of something in OBS, please go ahead and resubmit your stuff. If you need Jenna or I to help figure out whether things are correct, please do let us know. We are happy to help. If we run into further issues with stability, etc., I will give another heads-up. The “backend” and tools team is hard at work root causing and sorting out the issues, but we don’t have an ETA on resolution at this point. There are some details on the situation in the Jira ticket: https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TINF-443 While OBS is unresponsive, there is risk that anything submitted by tizenrobot (aka fro Gerrit to OBS via Jenkins) to OBS over the last couple of days may have been “dropped.” I am working on trying to find out what will need to happen to recover anything that might not have made it through to OBS. Because of the issues we are having, it is not even clear at this point whether SRs have been making it through or not. Since the UI is freaking out, we can’t see any of the project queues at present. I advise people to hold off submitting to OBS until the issues are resolved. You may also want to make a note of anything you have submitted since say about last Friday. I am not sure when this issue started occurring. We discovered it on Monday morning, but it is likely it started up between Friday and Monday sometime. Once we get the OBS back on its feet, we can address any missing SRs. So please be alert to anything you have submitted that you haven’t gotten acceptance notification for. Jenna and I will be on hand to help resolve issues and figure out revisoin questions, etc. I will send out another email when OBS is back up, or there is anything else significant to report.
