I will review this. Hoping to get to it by the weekend of Oct 17th. There
are some style changes to make, but I'm mainly concerned about the integration
with the config files mechanics and the ```SSLConfig``` changes (especially
statics). Doing it this way looks like it won't correctly update
```proxy.node.config.reconfigure_required```.
